| Guided Tour of St Andrew’s Graveyard | Saturday 18th July at 2pm. Meet by the Lychgate at St Andrew’s Church. – For its size, Ampthill has one of the largest graveyards in the county. There are some fascinating characters buried there with interesting stories to be told. Hear about the fascinating, the sad and visit memorials and graves of the Lords and Ladies. |
Sat 5 Sept Ampthill’s Origins Through the Park 2:00pm, Central Carpark. Ampthill Park has had an enormous influence on the town, from pre-historic times to the present day. This walk will highlight a whole range of historical features and why they are there.
Tues 27 Oct Ghost Walk 7.30pm, Market Square. Ampthill has more than its fair share of ghost stories – old legends and new tales are shared alongside intriguing facts about the town’s past.
Sun 1 Nov Stewartby 2:00pm, Stewartby Village Hall. Hear about the history of this unique village and the story of the London Brick Company, whose presence has shaped everyday life for generations.

Sat 24 April Secret Ampthill 2.00pm, Market Square. With any town the age of Ampthill there are those interesting little features that you probably walk past every day and never notice. Explore the town and discover hidden gems.
Tues 11 May John’s Pub Crawl! 7:00pm, Market Square. Over the years there have been at least 23 hostelries in Ampthill, find out where these were and how they fitted into the local community.
Tues 15 June Vintage Ventures 7:00pm, Outside the Engine & Tender. In years gone by many tell us that they could buy all they needed in Ampthill. Explore and visit the sites of various old shops and find out what pre-dates some of the current ones.
